TPSX Materials Properties Database from NASA

The goal of TPSX is to provide easy and immediate access to material data for analysts, engineers and designers in the aerospace field. This version of TPSX offers data on over 1500 materials, compiled by various NASA Centers and industry sources. Most of the materials are designed for aerospace applications. This was reported in the February 2006 issue of Infowatch, a monthly electronic newsletter, published by the National Centre for Science Information (NCSI) Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Publications of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center

The Information Technology Laboratory (ITL) is the preeminent engineering information technology organization in the Department of Defense (DoD). ITL supports the research missions of U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), other Corps activities, the Army, DoD, and other agencies by conceiving, planning, managing, conducting, and coordinating research and development (R&D) in high performance computing, computer-aided and interdisciplinary engineering, computer science, information technology, and instrumentation systems. Recently, Publications of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center are published online.

Some examples include: 'Guide for Preparing Technical Information Reports of the Engineer Research and Development Center' and 'The Seismic Design of Waterfront Retaining Structures'. They can be accessed from: ITL On-Line Publications.
