It is very nice to get the pdf of the patent. Last time I checked on uspto only tiff was available.

Texas Holdem - "blinds" or the rate required
Before each new hand is dealt two players to the left of the dealer button - marked a white disc with the word "dealer", which circulated on the table clockwise - pay rates "in the dark".
The player sitting on the dealer pays the full mandatory bid in the dark (the big blind - the big blind), and the player to the immediate left of the dealer pays half of this amount (called the small blind or the small blind).
The actual amount of the rates determined by the minimum bets on the table (for example, we're playing at rates 1/2 $ - means that in each hand one player paid before any cards are dealt the dollar and the other two U.S. dollars - thus creating the initial pot).
